In Kids of the Kingdom, children learn their identity is defined by Jesus Christ and not by the world around them. They learn they are chosen, adopted, redeemed sons and daughters of the most High King. Sunday morning offers children a unique time of community with other children of similar age in a loving, Christ-centered environment that helps them love and follow Jesus. We use David C. Cook Tru curriculum which helps kids discover their place in the Big God Story and experience the wonder of who God is. Tru is a spiritually forming, parent-empowering and kid-captivating curriculum. To help parents spiritually nurture their children, “Home Front Weekly” and “Home Front Monthly” parent resources are available.

This year we are excited about our new elementary format where children will “Gather in the Word”, “Respond to the Word”, be “Blessed by the Word” and “Move to the Word”.

Safety and Security

Peanut-free snacks are provided for all ages. Parents of children with severe food allergies need to provide a food allergy action plan from their physician. Please adhere to our “24 hour fever free and symptom free” wellness policy before bringing children into the nursery or to Sunday School Classes.

For the safety and security of our children, we use a web based security system and utilize a two-step process for check-in.

  1. Parents and children check-in at the Children’s Welcome Desk to receive security name tags.
  2. Parents check-in with classroom volunteers and complete the “parent location” section in the attendance notebook.
Children are released only to the adult with the corresponding name tag. All volunteers have attended Bonhomme for at least six months and must have a background check before serving.
