At Bonhomme, children of all ages are welcome in worship.

Worshiping with your child cultivates a sense of belonging in the church community and provides opportunities for spiritual discussions throughout the week. To help parents worship with their children, complementary copies of Parenting in the Pew by Robbie Castleman are available at the Children’s Welcome Desk in Steffen Hall and near the entrance of the Sanctuary.

If you have questions, or would like to learn more about children in worship, please contact Mary Oldfield at 636.532.3486. >Email

What are other options for my child?

Children six months to pre-kindergarten

Childcare is available during all worship services that is more than just childcare. We use Gospel Light’s Baby Beginnings curriculum in the Toddler Room and The Pray and Play Bible  in the Blue Room. For more information about Bonhomme childcare, click HERE.

Kindergarten through fifth grade

During 11 am Contemporary Worship there is an optional Children’s Sermon Message that takes place during the sermon portion of the service. Children are dismissed before the Scripture reading for an age-appropriate and relevant message based on the same Scripture from the worship service. Children return during the last song. This option gives families the opportunity to worship together for part of the worship service.
