Connection Center

Our online connection center is our way of describing everything that is available for you and your family to serve and grow in faith. We’re a vibrant church with God-centered ministries and Jesus-loving people. That means we are active, enthusiastic and enjoy spending time with one another, living out the Bible. From Sunday school classes to small groups, children and student events, volunteer opportunities and everything in between you can find it here.

This Month

Coffee and Conversation with Pastor Phil

Men and Women of all ages are invited to attend “Coffee and Conversation with Phil.” These small and informal gatherings will be held on the third Tuesday of most months, 10–11:30 a.m. at the home of Mary Bruning. The first gathering will be on September 18. You can sign up to attend on the sign-up board in the Connection Center.
This will be an opportunity to visit and become more personally acquainted with our Senior Pastor, Phil Hargrove, as well as other members of our church family. It is also a time when you can share your thoughts about how to make Bonhomme the best it can be!
For questions, contact Mary Bruning,, 314-223-1443 or Jeanne Martin,, 314-307-0630.

Congregational Meeting

There will be a called meeting of the congregation on September 30 right after the 8:30 a.m. service in the Sanctuary. The purpose of this meeting is to elect officers to fill Elder and Deacon positions opened by vacancies.

Worship Held in Steffen Hall

In late August, our church sustained a lightning strike which knocked out several of our electronic devices and controls. Among those systems affected is the light panel in the sanctuary, which controls lighting for worship. As a result, we have had only partial lighting in the Sanctuary during the entire month of September.
It will take up to three weeks to replace and repair the lighting controls that aren’t working. During this process, there will be no electric lights in the sanctuary at all. These repairs are expected to take up to three weeks.
In order to keep our worship schedule as regular as possible, we plan to have all worship services in Steffen Hall during the time needed to make these repairs. Look forward to trying some new things in worship during this time, based on the very positive response to the recent UNITE service.
We expect to be back in the sanctuary for services on October 28.
