Connection Center

Our online connection center is our way of describing everything that is available for you and your family to serve and grow in faith. We’re a vibrant church with God-centered ministries and Jesus-loving people. That means we are active, enthusiastic and enjoy spending time with one another, living out the Bible. From Sunday school classes to small groups, children and student events, volunteer opportunities and everything in between you can find it here.

Children & Parents Gather to Celebrate

December 3 is the first Sunday in Advent and what better way to kick-off the Christmas season than celebrating with your children. Children from the two’s and three’s in the Blue Room to the fifth graders will all gather in the Grow and Go Zone with their parents for this special celebration. Grandparents are welcome too! Come for merry making, ornament making and a special word from Don Everts to help us gaze at the awe and wonder of God coming in the flesh. The Kingdom Parent Class will be cancelled that day. This Sunday School celebration and the December 13 “All Church Christmas Celebration” are replacing our “Celebrate Jesus” event this year.

Discover Bonhomme on December 3

If you’ve been attending Bonhomme for one month or one year and haven’t yet joined our church, this is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions and get to know more people.

If you miss this month’s Discover Bonhomme lunch, don’t worry! We offer this opportunity on the first Sunday of every month.

Christmas Concert: Joy to the World

Our Chancel Choir, joined by the Bonhomme Ringers, will present our annual Christmas Choral Concert at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 10. They will present “Joy to the World: A Celebration of Christmas” by John Leavitt; it is a collection of Christmas carols and readings.

John Benda, Lydia Benda, and Jane Hurst will serve as our soloists, and the Pastoral staff will provide the narration. A string orchestra will be on hand, and the audience participation will make the evening even more festive! Please mark your calendar now to save this special date!

Learn More about our next Honduras Trip

All-Church Christmas Celebration

It’s time to celebrate! Join us for a festive Christmas celebration for ALL generations. Whether you’ve been coming to Wednesday Growth Night or not, you won’t want to miss out. We’ll start with dinner and entertainment in Steffen Hall and end with the Fifth Grade Nativity Play in the Sanctuary. Take pictures with friends and family at a fun holiday themed photo booth. Enjoy our Children’s choirs and bells and see what Heart and Soul has planned. Registration information to follow.

A Blue Christmas

Yes, Blue Christmas, as in feeling blue, sad, lonely. For most, Advent and Christmas are the most joyful time of the year! But for some, it’s anything but joyful. Coping with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce or separation, the loss of a job, hearing a diagnosis that leaves hard questions about the future. These and other painful situations leave many in our community feeling grief, alone or sad. For those among us who do grieve, feel sad, or alone, we want to create a sacred space to reflect where you are and hold out healing and hope.

Please join Community Care Ministry Wednesday, December 20 for dinner and Blue Christmas, a service to reflect on the longest night before Christmas. Our time together will include table fellowship over dinner and sacred time reflecting on scripture, remembrance, carols, and the light that pierces the darkness in our lives!

Dinner ($5.00 per person) begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by our Blue Christmas Worship. To make a dinner reservation contact Elizabeth Harris at 636-532-3486 no later than Friday, December 15. >Email
