Helping Children Love and Follow Jesus

Children’s Ministry focuses on partnering with parents for a lifetime of faith, teaching God’s word through Kids Church and special events, supporting children in worship and cultivating hearts to serve. To learn more about upcoming Children’s Ministry activities, please contact Thomas Hernandez.

Kids Church

At Bonhomme, children of all ages are welcome in worship. Or, they can join in our multi–sensory, exciting adventure of Kids Church in the Grow and Go Zone. During Kids Church, children can experience God’s true book the Bible coming to life through dynamic worship, games and activities, and most importantly, relevant kid–sized biblical learning. If you prefer to go virtual, visit us at bonpres.org/kidschurch for weekly lessons.

Kids of the Kingdom Sunday School

In Kids of the Kingdom, children learn their identity is defined by Jesus Christ and not by the world around them. They learn they are chosen, adopted, redeemed sons and daughters of the most High King. Sunday morning offers children a unique time of community with other children of similar age in a loving, Christ-centered environment that helps them love and follow Jesus. We use a David C. Cook curriculum which helps kids discover their place in the Big God Story and experience the wonder of who God is. This curriculum is a spiritually forming, parent-empowering and kid-captivating curriculum. To help parents spiritually nurture their children “Home Front Monthly” parent resources are available. At this time, Kids of the Kingdom Sunday School is not meeting.

Baptism

In Baptism, parents are declaring their own faith in Jesus, and that they are committing their family to following Him as part of a Christian community in order to both grow in faith and pass along that faith to their child. If you are interested in Baptism for your child or yourself, please contact Robby Cella.

Children’s Music

Each Wednesday evening during the school year we have music activities. Children learn music which reinforces their growing faith. They learn good singing and music-reading habits, and they learn about God through the music they sing and play. The Children’s music groups perform in a Christmas concert; they also have the privilege of occasionally leading worship. For more information contact Lynn Packwood. At this time, Children’s Music Programs are not meeting.
