Updated Mask Guidelines

Starting Sunday, May 30, reservations will no longer be required for worship services. During worship services, we will reserve a section of our Sanctuary and Steffen Hall as “masks-required.” These rows will remain blocked for social distancing for the time being.

Coffee will be served in Kilby Commons and Steffen Hall Lobby.

Anyone who cannot attend in person is encouraged to join us online. We will continue to Livestream our worship services every week and you can find those services on our website, our Facebook page, and our church YouTube channel.

World Vision Refugee Backpack Build | August 21

There are six million refugees living in refugee camps or other sites away from their homes in Syria About one half of these are children. They have fled their war–torn country with little more than the clothes on their backs, and sadly, often a family member has been killed. So, picture a little boy or girl standing by a truck when World Vision employees unload our backpacks. These children have not seen anything new or anything for them alone in years. They are shown by this Christian gesture that someone does in fact think they are important and loved. Their backpack consists of hygiene items, school supplies, and an insect repellent blanket.

Please help the Men’s Outreach Group [MOGS] assemble 250 backpacks in Kilby Commons on August 21 at 9 am and raise $5,000 for the cost of the backpacks. You can write a check and mail it to Bonhomme Church with World Vision Backpacks on the memo line, or better yet, come on August 21 with a check to buy as many backpacks as you can [they are $20 each].

Experience Rooted | Starts September 2 | 6:30-8:30 pm

As Bonhomme continues to be a disciple–making church, we are excited to offer Rooted, a small group experience that will root you in the way of Jesus! Rooted is a 10–week small group experience that leans into seven rhythms to connect you with God, the church, and your purpose. The seven rhythms of Rooted are prayer, freedom from strongholds, serving the community, sacrificial generosity, sharing your story, and celebrating transformation! Rooted small groups will be available at different times and days, with all groups gathering three times over the course.

Our first Rooted experience starts September 2, 6:30–8:30 pm in Steffen Hall. Rooted is free and childcare is available. To learn more, visit the Rooted table Sunday mornings in August.

Ways to Serve

Our Meal Ministry can Help

Did you know that Bonhomme has a Meal Ministry? Currently there are almost 50 homemade meals in the church freezer. Please help us deliver them to covenant partners or regular visitors who might need some home-cooked LOVE.

If you’d like to take a meal to someone, it’s easy! The meals are located on the middle row of the walk-in freezer in the kitchen next to Steffen Hall. Simply take a meal (or 2 if it’s for a bigger family) AND LOG your activity on the clipboard hanging on the left wall outside of the refrigerator doors. Please fill out the log completely so we can keep track of how many we are blessing. If you have any questions, contact Lisa Hartshorn.
