Men’s Ministry [There REALLY IS a Free Lunch]

Feeling cooped up? As the world begins to reopen, a member of the new Bonhomme Men’s Leadership Team would like to take you out to lunch.

We’d like to hear from you! How can we serve you? What can we pray about for you? How would you like to see the men Bonhomme serving others? How would you prefer to engage with other men in the community? We’ve got some adventurous ideas already, so nothing is off the table to talk about … and the lunch is free!

Library News

The Torchlighters: Heroes of the Faith DVD series presents exciting, animated stories of true-life heroes from Christian history.

Visit Bonpres.org/library for full details of these DVDs (easily found under New in Library) and our book/DVD pick-up service.

Bonhomme Library Provides Pick-up Services

During COVID-19, Bonhomme Library is now providing pick-up service outside the Kilby Commons Doors. Click HERE to browse our online catalog to make your choices. Send email request with titles to our church librarian, Sunny Hollingsworth. The librarians will bag your books and place them in a bin outside Kilby Commons doors and will send you an email alerting you that your requests are ready for pick-up. When finished, return the books to the same bin.

Our online catalog has a new look! The New in Library tab features descriptions of adult and children’s books and DVDs we recently added to the collection. You’ll find something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The Resource Lists tab provides lists of Pastor recommended books and recent Christian book award winners available in our collection. If you have any questions about our catalog or the pick-up process, please email Sunnye Hollingsworth.

Landscape Volunteers Needed

Bonhomme has two front doors, so to speak; and that gives us twice the expected landscape area. While we have great people taking care of various areas, we could use more help. Generally, we choose whatever timing suits our own personal schedules to tidy up sections.

Another greatly appreciated activity is an occasional walk around the many trees and shrubs in the RecPlex, at your pleasure, to pick up fallen branches.

For more information contact Joan Kilby 314.469.3164 or
John Green 314.-808.5101.

Ongoing Events

Exercise your faith in a variety of ways.

Women’s Bible Study | Thursday Mornings

If you are ready to engage in a study or are new to Bonhomme, join other great women as we engage in God and his word! Due to COVID groups will be meeting in various ways.

If you are interested in joining a group please contact Dana Altermatt or Elizabeth Harris.

Ways to Serve

Our Meal Ministry can Help

Did you know that Bonhomme has a Meal Ministry? Currently there are almost 50 homemade meals in the church freezer. Please help us deliver them to covenant partners or regular visitors who might need some home-cooked LOVE.

If you’d like to take a meal to someone, it’s easy! The meals are located on the middle row of the walk-in freezer in the kitchen next to Steffen Hall. Simply take a meal (or 2 if it’s for a bigger family) AND LOG your activity on the clipboard hanging on the left wall outside of the refrigerator doors. Please fill out the log completely so we can keep track of how many we are blessing. If you have any questions, contact Lisa Hartshorn.
