Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
Matthew 19:14
In 1969, school for toddlers was vastly different than it is today. Miniature students might expect to stay for but a couple of hours in their simple classrooms, learn basic colors and shapes, make new friends, laugh, sing and play. Although times have changed, and our little friends might stay a bit longer, life more than 50 years later at Bonhomme Preschool and Kids Day Out remains as pure and play-based as it once was in 1969, with a newly inspired mission of helping children, faith and families grow. Please watch the video below to find more information about our wonderful school.

Quick Facts
Preschool
Bonhomme’s preschool program has been in existence since 1969. We believe that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. Our curriculum is carefully structured so children can choose activities that will help them grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually, with the goal of providing a healthy balance between child-centered and teacher-directed activities. Our Preschool children also experience Music/Bible Time, Physical Education, and Spanish weekly, and Art Appreciation monthly. We have classes for two-year-olds through pre-kindergarten, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Each classroom is staffed by degreed and experienced teachers. The school year runs September through May.
Kids Day Out
Our Kids Day Out (KDO) classrooms are staffed by experienced caregivers and are equipped with developmentally appropriate materials. The daily schedule is relaxed but follows a routine that helps children feel safe and secure at school. KDO is offered daily, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. September through May. Children (ages six months to two years old) may be enrolled one or multiple days.
Summer Play
Bonhomme Preschool and KDO Summer Play provides an opportunity for children (one-year-olds through those entering kindergarten) to explore fun topics in a learn-through-play setting. A typical day might include books and stories, creative art projects, music and movement, and interactive learning experiences. We offer six different sessions in June and July, held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Summer Play registration form can be downloaded by clicking the Summer Play block above.
Extended Day
Many of our Preschool students enjoy having lunch together and spending time with their school friends in a more relaxed setting. Extended day is available every day, Monday through Friday, 12–3 p.m.
Vaccination and Health Policy
Each child is required to have a physical examination upon entrance to school and must be FULLY IMMUNIZED in order to register. Children who have been sick should not return until they have been fever-free and symptom-free for 24 hours.
