Life of Moses (Part 1) – Exodus: The Journey of Redemption (conducted in Mandarin)     |     Selina Li    |     Bride’s Room
This study explores the life of Moses, one of the greatest leaders in the Bible, who was chosen by God to deliver Israel from slavery and lead them toward the Promised Land. Through Moses’ journey - from his birth and calling to his leadership challenges, moments of doubt, and deep relationship with God - participants will discover lessons of faith, obedience, humility, and perseverance. Each session will reflect on how Moses’ life points to Jesus, the ultimate Deliverer, and what it means for believers to walk in God’s calling today. This class is conducted in Mandarin for the convenience of our Mandarin speakers.  16 weeks.

Unhurried  |   Laura Shultz   |   Chapel
Life moves fast. Too fast. But Jesus invites us to something beautifully different—a life rooted in Him, where green pastures and still waters refresh our souls.
In this class, inspired by The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer, we’ll learn how to step off life’s treadmill, slow down, and “be still” with Jesus. Together, we’ll explore His life-giving rhythms—solitude, rest, simplicity, and presence—and discover how practicing them can transform our days from frantic to full. Through God’s Word, honest conversation, shared community and experiential learning, we’ll create space to encounter Jesus in fresh, restorative ways. 8 weeks

Parables of Jesus  |  Pastor Aeschbacher  |  Room 2107
Matthew tells us that Jesus “said nothing to them without a parable.”  (Matt 13:32)  Many of Jesus’ most challenging, profound, and engaging teachings are parables, and he often left them unexplained to allow us to work them out.  Join us to dive into the heart of Jesus’ teaching.  16 weeks

Why 3C's?

How will the Sunday schedule change?
Traditional worship services will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. The 11 a.m. service will be a live service (everything will be live with a host elder or pastor, but the sermon will be a replay of the 8:30 a.m. service). Modern worship will be held at 11 a.m. in Steffen Hall. The 3C's will take place at 9:45 a.m.
Will Growth Hour classes go away?
The short answer is no. In addition to great classes, we will also offer coffee and a space to chat in the commons - with a special focus on growing in community with one another. We will continue to offer the classes that so many have enjoyed in the past - plus more - as a way to serve our diverse covenant community.
Why are we doing this?
We believe God wants to grow us spiritually (Eph 4:11-16) and be unified together (John 17:20-26). This is a move for the future that will allow us to have space to know and love the whole body, share in community with one another, and learn more about God and His Word.
Why should I be interested?
God calls us to be in community with one another. This focused hour gives us the chance to share a cup of coffee and chat. We can grow in relationships and love as we enjoy community with one another. And, we can grow in our faith as we take classes on topics that will help us to live faithfully in God’s world. You won’t want to miss it!!!
What about the Youth?
Youth will worship at one of our regular Sunday services and have their own classes and community at 9:45 a.m. But, you are going to need to ask your parents if you can have coffee…
What will be offered for my children?
Kids church will meet at 11 a.m. only with specially designed kids’ classes and community at 9:45 a.m. Sorry, kids - no coffee.
